I have to say that the internet is AWESOME for killing time at airports! Weee!
While I'm waiting for my flight, I'll post some pics from this morning.
First up, this is Victoria. Look at the simple beauty of it, is it not wonderful?
The beams on the ceiling remind me of the wing of a wooden model plane. You know those kinds? They're really neat, right? :)
(By the way, that upload took a while. Actually, the first try canked and then the next try took ages. My bars are down pretty low at the moment. Still, it beats just the 15 mins you get at Victoria. How dumb is that?)
Anyway, here's the Flintstone section of Vancouver.
That's a waterfall there. Yeah, a waterfall. Too bad it wasn't on. Also too bad they have to have that railing in front, kind of wrecks it a bit, but we wouldn't want beautiful baby girls and idiots falling in, now would we?
If they got that crap out of the way, like the golf carts and that whatever cart there on the left, it would look way better.
I like the fusion of epochs with the merging of the Pleistocene wall rock and the Nowocene floor carpet.
